ABOUT US
Fish On Charters specialise in group charters for Fishing, Game Fishing, Diving, Kayak trips or Island tours.
Skipper Ian has over 25 years experience with vessels on the ocean and a wide knowledge of the Coromandel East Coast waters.
Fish On is a Roger Hill Power Cat 14m in length and 5.2m wide
with a cruising speed of 19 knots providing a stable and
comfortable ride.

The Boat
Fish On can cater for up to 20 persons (dependant on charter type) with full galley facilities, comfortable seating areas, two heads (toilets) and two showers, there are also berths for up to 6 persons for overnight trips.
Fishing platforms are equiped with bait cutting stations with
on-board chilly bin and ice for caught fish and live bait tanks for game fishing.
Located in Whangamata all charters operate from the Whangamata Marina, free car parking available.

Great Barrier Trips
Have fun with a group of mates for 5 days Fishing and/or Diving
in and around the pristine waters of the Barrier.
Maximum 6 persons. Dates to suit.
Accommodation is onboard (bring sleeping bag and pillow).
Catering: BYO food or additional cost.
Bring your own fishing rod or hire onboard available, bait supplied at cost.

Fishing Trips
Fish On is especially suited to groups wanting a fun fishing experience, ideally suited for a maximum of 12 persons fishing.
Tea, Coffee provided - bring your own lunch and snacks.
Bring your own fishing rod and bait - rod hire and bait available on request.
Safety in the sun - bring sunscreen, hat, sunnies and wear appropriate clothing (no black soled gum boots to be worn on board, thanks).
1. Day trip fishing Aldermann or Mayor Islands $2,300

2. Day trip fishing In-Shore $2,070

3. Half Day fishing In-Shore $1,150

Game Fishing Trips
Game Fishing in the waters between the Aldermanns and Mayor Islands. Minimum 2 persons - Maximum 10 persons.
Tea, Coffee provided - bring your own lunch and snacks.
Bring your own game fishing rod and lures or use on board rods/lures (no additional cost).
Safety in the sun - bring sun screen, hat, sunnies and wear appropriate clothing (no black soled gum boots to be worn on board, thanks).
Full day $2,645 (Minimum 2 - Maximum 10 persons)

Dive Trips
Fish On can cater for tank diving or free diving trips with dive tank storage (2 per diver) and easy access in and out of the water. Maximum number of divers per trip is 12 (no minimum). The on board crew will be able to assist as required but are not trained to treat dive related health issues, your safety in the water is your responsibility so always ensure you are confident of your diving abilities and have experienced divers in your group.

1. Day trip to Mayor or Aldermann Islands $2,300 per day (two dives)

Kayak Fishing Trips
Fish On has room to accomodate storage for up to 8 kayaks on board. Bring your own kayak or hire from local companies (we can arrange if required). Enjoy the day kayaking around the rocky shores of the Aldermann or Mayor Islands or try your luck kayak fishing closer in where larger boats can't reach.
